Front Desk Volunteer

 

Rainbow Community Center offers many programs, but our Front Desk is often the first face of the RCC for our community. We can use support in creating a welcoming atmosphere for people who walk in or call RCC, including:

Greeting guests
○ Providing information about our programs
○ Answering phones and routing calls
○ General office work
○ Data entry
○ Filing

Requirements:

Believe in the importance of in face-to-face community
○ Attention to detail
○ Ability to complete a task
○ Ability to handle multiple situations (someone walks in while you are on the phone with someone else)
Caring, compassionate and committed

Time/Day Requirements:

RCC is open to the public 1-6pm on Monday to Friday

Supervision & Support:

Volunteers are supervised by Alexis Fisher. RCC will provide additional training and assistance to ensure that the volunteers feel supported and well matched in their service placement.
